MR.MUTHU VENKATA SELVAM

Muthu Venkata Selvam – Co-Founder of AQVASTAR, embarked on this journey alongside industry experts in Swimming Pool & Irrigation, achieving remarkable success. With over 28 years of profound experience in the Irrigation, Water Fountain, and Swimming Pool industry, Muthu has been a driving force behind AQVASTAR’s triumph.

Beginning his career in 1992 with the Pump Division of Batliboi, Muthu later joined Al Ansari in 1994, a Muscat-based marketing company, specializing in irrigation. During his decade-long tenure in Muscat, he held various leadership positions and worked with renowned international brands such as PEM, Rainbird, AOSmith, Certikin, and more.

Returning to India eighteen years ago, Muthu took on the role of heading marketing activities for a new Omani-Indian Joint venture associated with ESSENCO. In 2008, he joined Certikin, a FLUIDRA company, establishing its Indian operations and leading the Bangalore office.

Throughout his career, Muthu collaborated with product specialist companies like Fontana, Safe Rain, Cepex, Bermad, Azud, creating markets for their innovative products. His contributions to setting swimming pool standards with the Indian Plumbing Association (IPA) showcased his commitment to industry advancement.

Sadasivam – Co-Founder of AQVASTAR was born on June 15, 1972, pursued his lifelong passion for Agriculture, graduating from the Agricultural Engineering College and Research Institute – Coimbatore (TNAU – Tamilnadu Agricultural University) with a degree in Bachelor of Agriculture Engineering.

Embarking on his career as one of the youngest Irrigation Design Engineers in the industry at PRAGTI IRRIGATION SYSTEMS PVT LTD, Nashik, he quickly ascended to the position of Founder at Kaveri Irrigations in 1996. In his 30s, Sadasivam became the Founder of Shiva Exports (Erode), Innovative Plumbing Solutions (Bangalore), Softscape Technologies (Chennai), and Sri Ganga Irrigations (Erode).

Fueled by his determination to “Do Irrigation the Right way,” Sadasivam planted the seeds of his Green dream, conquering challenges with the firm belief that “risks present opportunities.” Eager to create the world’s most reliable Irrigation company, he became the South Indian Authorized Distributor for RAIN BIRD, marking a successful merger and acquisition deal in the Irrigation Industry in South India. This financial stability and incorporation of high-tech Agricultural engineering techniques further solidified his success and global partnerships.
